Women Warriors offers free fitness classes and nutrition education to women in Lloydminster, Onion Lake and Calgary, Alberta.
The primary focus of Women Warriors is to increase physical activity and reduce sedentary time as per the Canadian Physical Activity Guidelines and the Canadian Sedentary Behaviour Guidelines.
Our participants are exposed to many different types of exercise
and activity in order to educate and encourage.
In addition, the program integrates nutrition education and dietary change, holistic counseling, and community building. We help bridge the gap between resources available in the community and participants in the program.
